THE JOURNEY THAT COUNTS

My martial arts career and practice has taken me to Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Barbados, California, Canada, England, Florida, France, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Scotland, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wyoming, and very soon, Japan.

But the most important journeys are the walk to my dojo to teach, and the drive to my BJJ lessons. 

In my martial arts career and practice I have trained with, and have been taught by, some of the top instructors in the world.

But my best training and instruction have come from my students.

In my martial arts career and practice I have met, and established friendships, with a large number of martial artists.

But my closest friendships, my deepest felt relationships, are with my students and peers in Goju-Shorei.
