THE CHRISTMAS COWS

Soooo last night the 22nd  I was driving home from work  going along about 40-45 ok maybe 50 mph and suddenly I could not see for a brief moment and there were 2 hard thumps then I notice that my windshield is broken and the hood of my jeep is crumpled into the windshield. Now I know there were no other cars on the road what the hell happened? It seems that I had struck 2 bulls that were wandering on the road. Yes this is open range so they can be there and that means I just went into the cow business with farmer Duncan and my bulls just died. The jeep is totaled and undriveable and I am about a mile from the nearest phone so I walk back to work to call the P.C.S.O. So the deputy comes out I write the report then they  they decide that I need to get checked out  so out comes the ambulance I get strapped down  and off I go to the hospital. When I arrive I am the lucky winner of a cat scan an X-ray and some lab work ( of which I had give a urine sample and some blood have you ever tried to peee lying down?) they finally say ok you are fine go home no work for the rest of the week. So that snookered me out of working on Christmas and the holiday premium pay that comes with it. THANKS DOC!  This could have been worse much worse I could have left the road rolled the vehicle spread all the stuff in the jeep across the desert and I would be having a yard sale. I could have been badly injured but I was not. So this is a good Christmas and I am wishing you a very
