Hey people! Here I am with my oldest Machado BJJ student. Soke Dave McNeill (73). Actually, I'm sure he is one of the oldest if not the oldest, I mean chronologically mature, in the entire Machado system nationwide. Even though he is the 9th Degree Grandmaster of Goju Shorei and is also my weapons instructor he has decided to be a student again and been diligently training in the art of BJJ for the past few years. He is getting tough on the mat! Hes so tough you cut him and he wont bleed! And HE IS INSPIRING! I'm honored to have the opportunity to coach him. He proudly goes home to his wife Mary Ann and shows of his matburns he has earned in live roll! He really enjoys his training and should be motivation to all of you out there, especially you spring chickens 40 or 50 or 60+ that BJJ is something anybody can do. I've heard it said: "You dont stop BJJ when you get old, you get old when you stop doing BJJ"! Come in to the dojo and check out a FREE trial "Executive BJJ" class! Safe, fun and exciting.
